These terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Hungerford Taxi. By booking our services, you confirm your acceptance of these terms in their entirety.

Definitions

• “Hungerford Taxi,” “we,” or “us” refers to the service provider.
• “You” or “your” refers to any individual, business, or organisation making a booking.

Bookings

• Responsibility for Timing: You must allow sufficient time for your journey, especially for airport transfers. Hungerford Taxi is not liable for delays caused by inadequate preparation or scheduling.
• Vehicle Size Selection: It is your responsibility to select a vehicle that can accommodate your passengers and luggage. Excess luggage may not be accommodated, and every passenger, regardless of age, is counted.
• Wheelchair Access: If wheelchair accessibility is required, please inform us during booking.

Pricing & Payment

• Quotations: Quotes are based on the provided details and exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. Significant itinerary changes may lead to price adjustments.
• Included Waiting Time: For airport transfers, quoted prices include a waiting period of 45 minutes after the scheduled landing time and airport parking charges. Additional waiting time will incur extra costs at standard rates.
• Payment Methods: Payments can be made via cash or credit/debit card.

Service Guidelines

• Passenger Conduct: Passengers must behave appropriately during the journey. A cleaning fee will apply for soiling or damage caused by passenger actions.
• Prohibited Activities: Smoking, eating, and drinking are not allowed inside vehicles.
• Child Safety: Children must use appropriate restraints based on their height, weight, and age.
• Passenger Limits: We cannot transport more passengers than permitted by our vehicle license or insurance.

Cancellations

• Cancellation Notification: Inform us promptly if you need to cancel a booking. Charges may apply for cancellations after the vehicle has been dispatched.
• Online Booking Cancellations: Cancellations before dispatch may be subject to fees deducted from the original payment.

Liability

• Punctuality Disclaimer: While we aim to provide timely service, we are not liable for losses due to unforeseen delays.
• Luggage Responsibility: Luggage is carried at your own risk.
• Breakdown Procedures: In the event of a vehicle breakdown, we will arrange an alternative vehicle as soon as possible.
• Liability Waiver: Hungerford Taxi is not liable for costs or damages resulting from passenger actions or omissions.
• Legal Limitations: Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury, death, or fraudulent misrepresentation caused by negligence or misconduct.

Termination

Hungerford Taxi reserves the right to terminate or refuse service in cases of abuse, violence, or damage by passengers. No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.

Miscellaneous Provisions

• Subcontracting: Hungerford Taxi may subcontract its obligations, but you may not assign your rights without our consent.
• Updates to Terms: These terms may be updated without prior notice. The most recent version will always be posted on this page.
• Data Protection: Personal data is handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

Disputes

Any disputes or claims must be submitted within 30 days of the scheduled journey. Claims after this period will not be considered.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
